About Us

Doug + Mary

We’re Doug and Mary, outdoor enthusiasts who feel most at home when we’re exploring somewhere new. We spend as much time as we can traveling across the United States in our Sprinter van, discovering small towns, beautiful landscapes, and places a little off the beaten path. When we’re not on the road, one of our favorite ways to get away is sailing in the Bahamas. Home for us, though, is a small mountain town in beautiful East Tennessee.

For the past 10 years, we’ve worked in the hospitality industry, and creating a place where people feel comfortable, welcome, and well cared for has become second nature to us. Last year, we stumbled upon an opportunity to try a little Glamping at a state park campground. It didn’t take long for us to realize that it brought together so many things we already loved—hospitality, the outdoors, travel, and creating memorable experiences for others.

What started as a little adventure quickly became something we wanted to pursue more seriously. Our hope is to create a Glamping experience that gives our guests the best of both worlds: the beauty and peacefulness of being outdoors, with the thoughtful touches and comforts that make a getaway feel truly special.
